Vintage Lionel Coal Loading Set in Working Condition
Set includes:
#456 Operating Coal Ramp and Hopper Car
Three separate, remote control actions are involved! First switch the operating hopper up onto the ramp. It couples to the ramp automatically. Push the first remote control button - train uncouples form hopper to roll away. Second button opens actual hopper doors underneath car and unloads cola into bin. Press third button and hopper car uncouples from ramp and rolls back onto lower track. End pier and base of cold rolled steel.
Complete unit includes ramp, hopper car, coal.
Outfit is 35" long, 3-3/16" wide and 6-3/16" high.
#397 Coal Loader:
At pressure of remote control switch, vibrating mechanism feeds artificial coal to climbig conveyor. Miniature buckets carry coal up and over into awaiting car. Conveyor is powered by heavy duty, self-lubricating motor, contained in genuine replica og General Motors Diesel housing. Heavy, die-cast base attractively finished in gray crinkle and is cushion mounted. Dimentions: 10-1/16" long, 7-7/16" wide, 6" high.
