Growing up, going to the shows brought on inspiration and ideas for my own train layout at home as it has done for many others visiting the show. Our train shows are not swap meets, but they are an important inspiration to hobbyists and engineers of all ages. From highly intricate layouts to innovative layouts to different scenes, the ideas and techniques are endless. The show also displays the abilities to put together a layout or diorama at all ages.
Not only can you gain ideas at our trains shows but you can also gain knowledge and information on products. Entry to the train show includes clinics and seminars from the basic information to start your own layout all the way to the details of items like creating a scene with water or static grass. The clinics also teach the basics of Digital Command Control to the history of model trains.
