H&R Trains...Calendar of Events

(FEC) All Friday evening classes are $8.00 per person except where noted. Most classes are hands-on workshops and include all materials. Classes are open to all ages including small children. Classes start at 7 PM and last until 9 PM. The "Quick & Easy Scenery" Class is free for one person with the purchase of the scenery video.

(LEC) The Little Engineers Club is an educational club for children ages 3 - 7. We usually meet one Saturday of each month at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm. During each meeting children will learn something new about real trains, play games, do a craft project, run the outside Gazebo Garden Railroad, and enjoy a snack.

(CATS) H&R Trains participates in many national conventions and trade shows throughout the year. We would love to visit with you if you are able to attend any of these shows.

(MISC) Our customers come from all over the world, and we realize that many of you plan a visit to our store while attending other events or while you are on vacation or holiday. We have included some of the other activities that are going on in our area that may be of interest. Please let us know if this is of interest and we will try to include more in the future.

National Garden Railways Convention

If you live in the Denver area or are planning to be in the Denver area in early July we would love to meet you at "The National Garden Railways Convention". Come by the H&R Trains booth #403

If you come early there are tours of some great Garden Railroads in the Denver area and there are several tourist railroads in the area including the "Durango & Silverton", "The Cumbers & Toltec", and others that you simply must see while you are in the Denver area.

Note: We are pleased to announce that our good friend Dwayne Miller, owner of the worlds largest train store "Caboose Hobbies" will be helping to man our booth during the show.
